Fayetteville (Ark.) High School has four Class of 2013 prospects to keep an eye on, led by quarterback Austin Allen. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder already has scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Tulsa."His brother [Brandon] was the state player of the year last season and he has a chance to be that kind of guy," coach Daryl Porter said. "His brother was a talent, leader and competitor and Austin has the same exact traits. He can make all the throws. He can throw on the run and in the pocket. Austin has a quick release and a smart kid. He has some dual threat ability."In three games this year, Allen is 42 of 69 for 484 yards with 12 touchdowns and no interceptions. He's also rushed for 93 yards. "He just needs game experience," Porter said. "I really think he has a chance to be one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. I also think Arkansas will offer him going into next season."Another player Porter is very high on is Alex Prignoni, a 6-foot, 195 pound athlete. "Alex is the best athlete I have had here," Porter said. "He has size and runs a 4.5 [40 yard dash]. Alex already has three interceptions this season and leads our team in tackles. He's just a terrific athlete that will play free safety at 205 pounds. He's also a baseball player. Once he devotes full time to football he'll get that much better. Alex just has great instincts."Linebacker Brooks Ellis, 6-3 and 215 pounds, has 24 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and one sack so far this season. Ellis doesn't have any offers yet, but Ole Miss, Nebraska, LSU, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Virginia, Notre Dame and Texas A&M are recruiting him. Finally, watch RB Brice Gahagans. At 5-10 and 175 pounds Porter said he's a complete back with very good speed. He's already rushed for 331 yards and four scores and generating interest from many schools in the region.
