A look at who is off to a good start with their 2013 classes. Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama has a trio of commitments for its 2013 class, headlined by linebacker Reuben Foster (LaGrange, Ga./Troup County). Foster, 6-foot-1 and 225 pound Mike linebacker, is a ferocious hitter who can flat out fly to the football. He chose the Tide over Georgia. Athlete O.J. Howard (Prattville, Ala./Autauga Academy) actually grew up an Auburn fan but once the Crimson Tide offered him he jumped all over it and committed. Howard plays quarterback, wide receiver, running back and outside linebacker in high school, but the 6-5, 217-pounder believes he will be a tight end for the Crimson Tide. Alabama's first commitment for its 2013 class was offensive tackle Bradley Bozeman (Roanoke, Ala./Handley). Bozeman, 6-5 and 315 pounds, committed to Alabama in June.Auburn Tigers
The defending national champions have three commitments so far for 2013 -- athlete Jayron Kearse (Fort Myers, Fla./Cypress Lake), linebacker Trey Johnson (Lawrenceville, Ga./Central Gwinnett) and defensive tackle Dee Liner (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Muscle Shoals). Kearse, 6-4 and 190 pounds, is the nephew of former Florida Gator and NFL star Jevon Kearse. Kearse, 6-4 and 190 pounds, plans on playing receiver for Auburn. He will make his first visit to The Plains when the Tigers host Florida next month. Johnson was one of the hottest junior prospects during the May evaluation period, netting offers from schools coast to coast. In the end, the 6-1 and 212 pounder picked the Tigers over the Gators. Liner was Auburn's first 2013 commitment. The defensive lineman attended Big Cat Weekend at Auburn at the end of May and was sold.Georgia Bulldogs
The Dawgs have an already impressive foursome to their 2013 class in quarterback Brice Ramsey (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County), running back Derrick Henry (Yulee, Fla/Yulee), wide receiver Tray Mathews (Newnan, Ga./Newnan) and safety Tramel Terry (Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek). This is Ramsey's first year as a starter and he is full of upside. While he's committed to the Dawgs, he attended the Gators game last weekend. Meanwhile, Henry committed to UGA over Florida. He gives the Bulldogs a big, powerful back at 230 pounds. Georgia went to the Palmetto State to land Terry, a big play receiver who will likely end up in the slot in Athens. Mark Richt and Georgia beat Alabama for safety Mathews. All four recruits attended Georgia's big summer camp in July, Dawg Night. In fact, Ramsey, Henry and Terry all committed to Richt and the Georgia staff while there at the event and Mathews made his college decision shortly after.LSU Tigers
