Sophomore DE Garrett Dickerson Dickerson (Oradell, N.J./Bergen Catholic) was just excited to get the opportunity to play Tampa (Fla.) Plant."It was crazy and we all knew it would be a good game," Dickerson said. "Even on the plane we were very excited. It was hard fought to the end. It was fun, but sucks that we didn't come out with the win in the end. I played all right. I could have played better. We all could have played better."Dickerson's college decision is wide open at this time, but it will come down to academics."I am getting letters from Oregon to Rutgers and Boston College," Dickerson said. "Everything with recruiting is coming along well. I don't have a favorite school. I am looking for a good program with good academics. My parents have me focused on studies before football. It will be more academic decision than a football decision."Peppers wants to play in SECSophomore RB/CB Jabrill Peppers (Ramsey, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) was one of the standouts in Don Bosco's victory over Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee on Friday. The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect is fast, physical and physical. He scored two touchdowns running the ball and played very well in coverage and run support against the Hurricanes."When I run the ball I give all the praise and glory to the offensive linemen and they know that," Peppers said. "I thank them after every play. On defense, I just have to be a sure tackler and I have to lock up."At this time, Peppers doesn't care what position he plays. He just wants to help his Bosco teammates. That won't be the case in college."I am just an athlete and you can put me anywhere," Peppers said. "Just show me the technique and it will all come to me. But in college I want to play cornerback. It's hard to find one that is fast, smart, fundamentally sound that likes to hit people. They are usually missing one but I am all three. I have some of the best coaches and I am confident in me and in my coaches."While it's still a long way until Peppers needs to make a decision, at this time he wants to head south to play his college football."I want to play in the SEC," Peppers said. "I like teams like South Carolina, LSU, and Georgia. It will be a while before I make that decision but right now I want to play in the SEC."Perhaps one of the neatest things of the night was between the New Jersey vs. Florida games. As Bergen Catholic was coming onto the field it were getting cheered on and fired up by all the Don Bosco players."It's all love," Peppers said. "In Jersey we don't like them. Here it's Jersey versus Florida things. We are trying to show people that Jersey is a football state as well. It's not just Texas and Florida. We are a football state and can play with the best of them."
