Can ESPNU 150 running back T.J. Yeldon (Daphne, Ala./Daphne) continue to put up huge numbers? Last week against Foley, Yeldon, who's No. 119 in the ESPNU 150 and the No. 8 RB, rushed for 319 yards and three touchdowns in their win and has 633 rushing yards (11.72 ypc) and seven touchdowns for the season. And that's just three games. Yeldon, 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, powers the No. 1 ranked team in Alabama in 6A. He topped 100 yards in game one, 200 yards in game two and 300 hundred yards in game game. What will the Auburn commit do this weekend against Mobile Williamson? 400 anyone? "He could put up some big numbers at this pace but we are not much into numbers," said Daphne coach Glen Vickery. "T.J. has improved overall and he's a fierce competitor. Last year he wasn't our leading rusher and played a lot in the slot. This season he has spent more time at running back and playing Wildcat. He's seeing the field better and just keeps improving year to year."Big game for Vandy
The Commodores host Ole Miss, who is without its best offensive player, running back Brandon Bolden, and a 3-0 start would be huge for new Vanderbilt coach James Franklin. It doesn't get any easier for Vandy, with games remaining against South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas, so a win against the Rebels could be key if the Dores want to finish .500 or better. That's big for Vanderbilt as it will not only try to hang on to what is already a very good recruiting class, but like last year, close strong. Sitting at 2-0, the Commodores just committed four-star wide receiver in Andre McDonald (Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka) and are still faring well. Some fear a few losses could make current Vandy commits rethink their decisions, so success on the field can only help keep the momentum going for a class that sits just outside the top 25 in the class rankings. Brown to visit Notre Dame
Chris Brown (Hanahan, S.C./Hanahan), who broke his collar bone in the second quarter of his second game and is out four-to-six weeks, will visit the Fighting Irish this weekend. This will mark the second official visit for this three-star wide receiver. He visited Alabama earlier this month and is scheduled to visit LSU on Sept. 30. The Crimson Tide has recently offered him a track scholarship, according to Hanahan coach Charlie Patterson. Last spring Brown, 6-2 and 175 pounds, broke the South Carolina high school triple jump record. Later, he broke his own record. Brown had the best recorded triple jump in all of high school last year. Moore set to visit Cornhuskers
