Athlete Chris Moody and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (McDonough, Ga./Henry County) both have their share of scholarship offers and are off to good starts to their senior campaigns.Henry County is 1-1 on the season and in its first game Moody passed for over 200 yards and rushed for over 100. Last week, in a loss to Eagles Landing Christian Academy he was 15-for-21 passing."Chris has scholarship offers from Mississippi State, South Carolina, UCF, Cincinnati, Maryland, Purdue, and Georgia Tech," Henry County coach Mike Rozier said. "I think he's wide open and he will go visit some games this fall. Right now I think he's trying to figure out what he will play in college -- quarterback, cornerback or safety. Chris is that talented."While Moody's schools of interest are easy to figure out, Tomlinson is playing things more close to the vest."When it comes to recruiting Dalvin plays the game with a poker face," Rozier said. "No one can get much out of him. I know he's going to the Georgia game this weekend against South Carolina. He also has interest in Florida, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Indiana and Clemson."Tomlinson, 6-foot-2 and 265 pounds, is a versatile defensive line prospect who can be a defensive end in a 3-4 scheme or a defensive tackle in a 4-3 scheme."Honestly, I don't think he has a preference," Rozier said. "He is more tied into academics. Dalvin is an outstanding student. He's about football and education. He's just a well-rounded kid."
