There have been two major changes for three-star wide receiver
C.J. Curry (Flowery Branch, Ga./Flowery Branch). He has transferred high schools as well as decommitted from Georgia and is now headed out of state."I am now committed to Oklahoma State," Curry said. "I took a visit out there in June with my brother [Darius] and parents. I really liked it up there and came home and gave it a lot of thought. At the end of the day it was the place for me. I had that feeling when I was there that I never had at Georgia."Besides feeling at home and very comfortable there were several other things that stood out for the 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver. "The facilities are incredible," said Curry. "I love the coaches. Coach [Glen] Spencer is terrific. He's recruiting me and my brother. He has a hand in getting that team going. Coach [Mike] Gundy is a great coach and I can't wait to play in that offense. That will excite you playing the position of receiver like me."Curry actually committed to the Bulldogs very early in the process back in October of his junior year."I called up Georgia and spoke with coach [Mark] Richt about my Oklahoma State decision," said Curry. "He certainly wasn't happy about it but he understood. That was unbelievably hard to walk away from Georgia. But people have to remember that I am the one that has to put in those four years. Oklahoma State is the best place for me."Recently, Curry left North Hall High School in Gainesville, Ga. His father has been a long time assistant with Bob Christmas, the North Hall head coach. But he got the defensive coordinator position at Flowery Branch and now C.J. and Darius are part of that team."It's been a smooth transition and a good transition," said Curry. "Things are well."
