Kentrell Brice (Ruston, La./Ruston) is no longer a Missouri commitment. He committed to the Tigers in mid-June but has realized the distance is just too great, especially for his family."I just decommitted," Brice said. "I talked it over with my mom a lot. It was a hard decision because I really want to go there, but the distance is too much. It's too far. From Ruston to Columbia is a 10-hour drive. We are a close family and they want to be at all my games."According to Brice he currently holds scholarship offers from Nebraska, Indiana, Tulane, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette."Right now I don't want to jump to another school," Brice said. "I will wait until I know for sure. I went to a few camps this summer like Ole Miss, Arkansas and La Tech. I liked those schools. I am hearing a lot from Baylor. They are trying to get me out for a game and I think they will offer. Ole Miss wants to see me play a few games this season. Arkansas is close, but I think one more coach there needs to sign off on me before they offer."So the plan for this 6-foot, 176-pound cornerback is to just wait."I will take as many official visits as I can," Brice said. "I want to get out and see things. As far as I know I will take all five and have some fun."Last season Brice had two interceptions and blocked eight kicks."I have good speed," Brice said. "If I get beat I can catch up to the receiver. I think I play the ball in the air well. I am physical and I don't give up on play. I just think I need to work on fine-tuning my cover skills. As far as special teams go I love blocking kicks. My coaches taught me a trick getting around the corner and then it's just a matter of making the play. I think I got five or six my sophomore year."Brice is a three-star recruit and rank as the No. 55 cornerback in the nation.
