Cornerback Trevon Stewart (Patterson, La./Patterson) is leaving the Bayou State for Texas, as this three-star athlete committed to Houston."I actually committed to the Cougars [Saturday] after their camp," Stewart said. "I had a feeling for a while now that I was going to commit to Houston but I wanted to see how camp was and how their coaches were. I really liked how they treat everyone and the players. It's close to home and far enough away if that makes any sense. I just love everything about Houston."Stewart, 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds, missed three games last season because of a high ankle sprain but still managed 110 tackles and three interceptions."I know I will start at the cornerback position, probably in nickel," Stewart said. "I should also have an early shot at returning punts. I have versatility, I work hard and I will be a leader for Houston. I know how to pick a team up and stay on top of things."Stewart committed to Houston over many teams in Conference USA.UAB nabs Georgia safety
