Heading into its junior camp this week, Tennessee had just two commitments. Now the Vols sit at six after landing three-star quarterback
Nathan Peterman (Jacksonville, Fla./Bartram Trail)."They offered yesterday and I committed this morning," Peterman said. "This was kind of crazy because Tennessee didn't start recruiting me until two weeks ago. They saw my video and then it began."Peterman, who also has scholarship offers Wake Forest, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt and others, picked the Vols for a variety of reasons. "I just felt right about the coaches and got a real good feel for them up there," Peterman said. "They are going to be very successful. I think I am a great fit for their offense. I like their style. The facilities are great and this is the SEC. And the campus is great. Everything is pointing me in the right direction to Tennessee. I am feeling so excited. I'm ecstatic about it and I will try and be ready to go."Peterman, 6-1 and 210 pounds, is the No. 45 rated quarterback. He joins wide receiver
Drae Bowles (Jackson, Tenn./Jackson Christian School), running back
Alden Hill (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington), and linebacker
Justin King (Dunwoody, Ga./Dunwoody) as Tennessee pledges this week.
