Offensive lineman Chester Brown (Hinesville, Ga./Bradwell Institute) is just about ready to make his decision public. All he needs first is the blessing of his parents. Brown, 6-foot-5 and 332 pounds, could be the University of Georgia's next football commitment for their class of 2012."Georgia offered me Friday after the camp," Brown said. "Honestly, I was surprised but I was also hopeful going in. Basically it [the offer] was from all the coaches."In his mind, Brown has made his decision."I didn't commit yet but I know I want to commit to Georgia but I have to talk with my folks first," Brown said. "It's a big decision. I know my uncle said yes and if he says yes they will say yes. I plan on talking with my folks this week. I hope to make it early this week, maybe even on Monday."I really like Georgia. I really like the coaches. They all put God first and they are good Christian people. Plus, the program is unbelievable."The Dawgs like Brown as a guard. In high school he plays offensive tackle."Run blocking is what I do best," Brown said. "I have good feet and size. I know that's what Georgia likes about me. I picked up a bunch of stuff at their camp, especially about pass blocking. They showed me some tricks and it makes pass pro a lot easier. We don't pass the ball that much in high school."Georgia is Brown's third scholarship offer. He also has ones from Georgia State and South Alabama."I think teams out there just don't know about me," Brown said. "I was late to the recruiting scene. Georgia was my first camp."Brown was born in Samoa and has lived in Georgia since 2004.
