Tanner Stone (Dallas/Highland Park) made his college commitment Thursday when he selected the Duke Blue Devils. Stone, 6-foot-6 and 255 pounds, plays offensive tackle."Duke has a great program and I really like all the coaches," Stone said. "They have been there three years and the program is changing. I love the direction. Of course Duke has great academics. Overall, it's a great fit for me."Stone says he just felt something different and unique about Durham and the Blue Devils."I just got that feeling," Stone said. "I talked with all those coaches and there is something special about that place. It's just a great staff and they all get along. They have a common goal and I think we are going to do really well."Stone says fits the scheme at Duke."They do run a pro style and we do a lot of passing here at my high school," Stone said. "I train in that aspect and my strength is my pass blocking. It's my strong suit."Stone committed to Duke over Colorado, Colorado State, Tulsa, North Texas and Arizona State.
