The Oklahoma City Thunder have been looking to add a veteran point guard and according to Shams Charania of The Vertical, they have agreed to a two-year, $5 million contract with Ronnie Price.

Rumor Central

Price, an 11-year NBA veteran, spent last season with the Phoenix Suns and averaged 5.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 62 appearances. Price will compete with Cameron Payne during the preseason for the main backup position behind starter Russell Westbrook.

Whenever Price and 2016 first-round pick Domantas Sabonis sign their deals, the Thunder will have 15 players under contract with fully guaranteed salaries for 2016-17 and that will probably be the roster that starts the regular season in late October.

The Thunder can add five more players to their training camp/preseason roster and pro basketball writer David Pick reports they have agreed to a partially guaranteed contract with forward Chris Wright. Wright, undrafted in 2011, spent last season playing in Israel with Maccabi Rishon LeZion and averaged 2.2 points and 4.1 rebounds. Wright is a two-year NBA after playing with Golden State during the 2011-12 season and Milwaukee in 2013-14.
