Michael Jordan is 'pretty sure' he could still beat his Hornets players in 1-on-1

In a recent interview with French sports outlet L’Equipe, Michael Jordan discussed his life as an NBA owner. When asked if he can beat his Charlotte Hornets players in a game of one-on-one, the 52-year-old Jordan answered with confidence.

"I'm pretty sure I can, so I don't want to do that and demolish their confidence, so I stay away from them. I let them think that they are good," Jordan said in the interview.

Charlotte's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, in his rookie season, confessed to losing to Jordan in a game of one-on-one when Jordan was approaching his 50th birthday.

There will be no more one-on-one for Jordan against his Hornets players, but he still desires a seventh NBA championship to add to the six he won with the Chicago Bulls.

The seventh title will be most difficult, according to Jordan.

"Being an owner of a team," Jordan said is more difficult. "You know, when I play I can control things. When I'm an owner, I can't control it from a basketball court."
