Tuesday's Jazz News: Dante Exum working to play through fatigue

New teammates Ingles, Hill shoot for strong bond: Each day following practice or shootaround, Joe Ingles and George Hill do the same thing. They shoot against each other competitively. The games accomplish a few things. It's a fun and creative way to simply get shots up after long workouts, when players often want to hit the shower and go home. Secondly, it's a chance for them to further their relationship as teammates, get to know each other, which the Jazz need a lot of with so many new faces. -- The Salt Lake Tribune

Utah routs L.A. Clippers 104-78 in preseason game: Quin Snyder won't say as much publicly, but he probably wishes Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan played for the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night against his Utah Jazz. Had the three Clippers stars gotten onto the floor, the Jazz might have a more accurate guess on where they stand with just one more dress rehearsal remaining before the regular season begins next Tuesday night. -- The Salt Lake Tribune

Shorthanded Jazz crush shorthanded Clippers 104-78: If anything can be taken away from Monday night’s preseason game at Vivint Arena, it’s that the Utah Jazz appear to have better reserve players than the Los Angeles Clippers. Utah again played without starters Gordon Hayward (finger), Derrick Favors (knee) and Rodney Hood (hand), but the injury absences didn’t slow the Jazz down in a 104-78 rout of the Clippers. -- Deseret News

Dante Exum knows he needs to work on playing through fatigue: Dante Exum notices it before hitting the film room, but there's a part of his game that sticks out when he’s reviewed game tape this preseason. Exum’s engine runs out of gas quicker than he’d prefer. That’s understandable considering he missed last season after undergoing surgery on his left knee in September 2015, but it’s something he wants to improve on as the 2016-17 season approaches. -- Deseret News
