Wednesday's Wizards Links: New challenge starts for Tomas Satoransky

New challenge starts for Tomas Satoransky: The Wizards added several new faces this offseason. Picking the most interesting of the new guys is probably somewhat of an eye of the beholder scenario. I would pick Tomas Satoransky. Center Ian Mahinmi is now the second-highest paid player on the team and the man tasked with improving their big man stats. Point guard Trey Burke is a former college basketball National Player of the Year. Andrew Nicholson's athleticism and perimeter game could make him an ideal compliment to starting forward power forward Markieff Morris. -- CSN Mid-Atlantic

Bradley Beal works on getting hoops and harm: As my colleague and CSN Wizards Insider J. Michael recently examined, part of Bradley Beal on-court evolution must include more frequent trips to the free throw line. The wing guard lags behind his contemporaries in this scoring area. Clearly Beal is working on the problem. His personal basketball trainer, Drew Hanlen, posted a video Friday night of a recent workout session with the player signed to a five-year, $128 million contract this summer. -- CSN Mid-Atlantic
