Utah Jazz sign draft pick Marcus Paige: The Utah Jazz signed the second of their second-round draftees, Marcus Paige, Monday afternoon. The terms of the signing were not disclosed. Paige, a four-year player at the University of North Carolina, was selected No. 55 overall by the Brooklyn Nets before being traded to the Jazz. -- Deseret News

Salt Lake City Stars 2016-2017 schedule released: The NBA D-League is one step closer to coming to Utah, as the 48-game regular season schedule for the Salt Lake City Stars was released on Monday. The team, which serves as the Utah Jazz’s D-League affiliate and was formerly known as the Idaho Stampede, will open play Nov. 12 on the road against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. -- Deseret News

Utah Jazz: Stars D-League affiliate opens season Nov. 12: The Utah Jazz Development League affiliate Salt Lake City Stars opens its inaugural season this November with a two-game road trip against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Starting Nov. 12, the Stars travel to South Dakota, followed by a trip to Oklahoma City and then the team's home opener on Nov. 18 against the Northern Arizona Suns. -- The Salt Lake Tribune
