In between shoots for their Panini trading cards, rookies Kris Dunn, Buddy Hield, Denzel Valentine, Caris LeVert and Brandon Ingram talked about the the biggest purchases they’ve made so far.

Have you made or do you plan to make a big purchase?

Kris Dunn, Minnesota Timberwolves: [A house] for my brother. Me and my brother, we’ve been through a lot growing up and he’s starting a family. I think the best way to start a family is to have a nice home to create that family.

At first it [buying my brother a house] was exciting. Now it’s just like, 'This is what I’m supposed to do.' He'd done a lot for me growing up, he was my first father before I actually met my father. So he deserves it. He’s always been my greatest supporter, he’s always helped me through the process so, really, he don’t even have to say 'thank you.' I know he will, I know he’s going to appreciate it, but it’s just coming from my heart.

Denzel Valentine, Chicago Bulls: I plan to get a nice car that nobody’s got.

I’m not sure [what car it will be]. I can’t leak it yet. I might post it on Instagram when I get it.

Brandon Ingram, Los Angeles Lakers: I haven’t. But probably something for my family. Well, actually I just got my mom a house, and my dad. Probably a car for myself.

It was something I've always dreamed of. [My parents] provided so much for me, it was just a no-brainer. You always think about giving back to your family so, knowing that they did so much for me, I had to give back to them.

Buddy Hield, New Orleans Pelicans: Just getting my mom a house. Getting her a house and she'll be straight. We're working on it. She's in a different place now but she'll be here soon.

Caris LeVert, Brooklyn Nets: I haven’t, not yet. I brought my brother a lot of stuff for his birthday on July 18, but that was about it.
