The Portland Trail Blazers will begin preseason play at the Moda Center against the Utah Jazz on Monday, Oct. 3. The team released its preseason slate on Monday.

The Blazers will leave the Pacific Time Zone only once in preparing for the 2016-17 season. They will play three home games and travel for games against both Los Angeles teams, Golden State and Utah.

• Monday, Oct. 3 vs. Utah Jazz (Moda Center), 10 p.m. ET

• Friday, Oct. 7 vs. Phoenix Suns (Moda Center), 10 p.m. ET

• Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Los Angeles Lakers (Staples Center), 10:30 p.m. ET

• Thursday, Oct. 13 at LA Clippers (Staples Center), 10:30 p.m. ET

• Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. Denver Nuggets (Moda Center), 9 p.m. ET

• Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Utah Jazz (Vivant Smart Home Arena), 10 p.m. ET

• Friday, Oct. 21 at Golden State Warriors (Oracle Arena), 10:30 p.m. ET
