• Player grades for the U.S. qualifier

Mexico may not be reaching for the panic button yet, but Tuesday night's lethargic, listless and uncreative performance at the Estadio Azteca to notch a third consecutive draw is certainly raising some eyebrows. The United States picked up only its second point ever at Azteca in World Cup qualifiers and extended its unbeaten streak at the mythical Mexico City stadium to a whopping two games.

Despite a promising start, with Javier Aquino victimizing DaMarcus Beasley often on the right wing, Mexico was unable to feed Giovani Dos Santos and Javier Hernandez to the point that they could create danger and finish a play. Chepo de la Torre rolled the dice offensively in the second half, bringing Pachuca's Angel Reyna and Atlas' Omar Bravo onto the pitch in search of an elusive goal.

But it ended in the same disappointing result for El Tri.
