Remember Sarah Fisher?
She was Danica before Danica, making her Indy 500 in 2000 at the tender age of 19, only the third woman to start the Greatest Spectacle In Racing. That same season she became the first woman to stand on an Indy Car podium, finishing third at the Kentucky Speedway. She also became the first woman to run a full IRL schedule, to finish second in a race and to win a pole position. She even took a stab at stock car racing long before Miss Patrick decided to do the same.
