One of the best putters in the game, Ben Crenshaw, was able to keep his emotions in check long enough to win his second green jacket.
Crenshaw was dealing with the death of his longtime mentor, Harvey Penick, a week before the year's first major.
"Gentle Ben" first won at Augusta National 11 years earlier in 1984.
