DETROIT -- After Villanova got kind of close, UNC is starting to pull away again.
The Wildcats just can't make an open shot and their shot selection hasn't been great, either.
The Tar Heels continue to make them pay for leaving shooters open on the perimeter. Ty Lawson made a 3-pointer that put UNC ahead 65-49 with 11:13 to play.
Guard Bobby Frasor and freshman forward Ed Davis are getting a lot of minutes for the Tar Heels. Tyler Hansbrough continues to play with three fouls.
