• Sit or stand: The sideline dilemma

DETROIT -- North Carolina coach Roy Williams apparently doesn't like standing on the sideline of the elevated court. He has spent much of the first 6½ minutes of the first half coaching from his chair, which sits below the court. Nova coach Jay Wright has stood on the sideline the entire game, and so did the coaches in the first national semifinal game (Michigan State's Tom Izzo and Connecticut's Jim Calhoun). Then again, Williams hasn't had to shout too many instructions so far. The Heels had a 19-8 lead with 13:26 to play.
