Magic is in the house

DETROIT -- Former Michigan State and NBA legend Magic Johnson walked down the aisle toward his alma mater's bench, about the same time the Spartans were led on the court by a cheerleader running with an enormous MSU flag.
Johnson will present the game ball before Monday night's championship game, along with former Indiana State and NBA legend Larry Bird. The ceremony will commemorate their epic showdown in the 1979 NCAA championship game.
Johnson also hugged MSU coach Tom Izzo's wife, Lupe, before taking a seat.
