INDIANAPOLIS -- We finally have our first two-possession lead of this glove-tight game.

Michigan State converted an Edgar Sosa turnover into a breakaway Durrell Summers slam for a 41-36 lead. It was the first time either team had led by more than three points.

Given the tightness of this game, a five-point lead feels cavernous. Rick Pitino apparently agreed, calling an immediate timeout.
