Andy Pettitte's salary increase is more like pocket change for the Yankees, but more importantly for the club, they get him on another one-year deal. Pettitte has been incredibly durable over the last five years, although he did have a small hiccup in September; given his age and career workload, keeping him on one-year contracts gives the Yankees an insurance policy of sorts.
