• Frank Clark to Michigan

Linebacker Frank Clark (Cleveland, Ohio/Glenville) made official visits to Michigan, Michigan State and North Carolina, before narrowing his choices down to the Wolverines and Tar Heels."I'm going to Michigan," Clark said. "I can get a great education, a great degree out of Michigan. The whole program is great and they have great tradition."The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Clark played outside linebacker and tight end during his senior season. He made 70 tackles including 19 sacks while catching 12 passes with three touchdowns.Clark will be a 'hybrid' linebacker/safety for the Wolverines.New Michigan coach Brady Hoke and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison were key in Clark's decision."I have a great relationship with coach Hoke," Clark said. "He really helped me with my decision. Coach Mattison was important too. I'm a Wolverine now."
