Polamalu down to three schoolsIt is decision time for
Maika Polamalu (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove), who could play running back or safety in college, is considering Navy, Temple and Villanova. "I made an official visit to Navy last weekend," Polamalu said. "It was good. I had a lot of fun. I liked the atmosphere. You could tell you were at the academy."Polamalu did not make official visits to either Temple or Villanova, but that won't be a factor in his decision. He has scholarship offers from both schools."I've made unofficial visits to both Villanova and Temple," Polamalu said. "I've been to Villanova twice and Temple three or four times."The 6-0, 205-pounder rushed for 1,600 yards and 21 touchdowns, while making 60 tackles during his senior season."I'm getting recruited for safety and running back," Polamalu said. "I have no preference. Navy and Villanova want me as a running back. Temple says safety."Polamalu said his plan right now is to decide early next week and sign with one of the three schools on Wednesday.
