Defensive back
Terrell Chestnut (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) committed to Pitt in July. After the resignation of Dave Wannstedt, and then the subsequent hiring of Mike Haywood, Chestnut remained committed to the Panthers. However, Haywood was then let go and Chestnut felt he could only wait so long as the Panthers searched for yet another head coach. Chestnut decommitted from the Panthers earlier this week."I had to start to look around because time was running out," Chestnut said. "I'm supposed to visit Villanova this weekend. Then the next weekend I go to West Virginia and the following weekend I go to Miami. I think I'll make all three visits."Pitt is still on his radar, but he hasn't talked to new coach Todd Graham yet.The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder has been a varsity starter since his freshman year. He played cornerback and safety all four years. Chestnut has also played quarterback, but is being recruited for defense.Chestnut, who made 71 tackles and intercepted five passes during his senior season, said he does not have a favorite school right now.

"Then when coach [Brady] Hoke was hired we set up a visit to Michigan Jan. 21. My other visit is Minnesota Jan. 28."[Glenville] coach [Ted] Ginn set up my visit to Michigan. An assistant from Minnesota came to my house and we set that visit up."Clark said all four schools have offered him a scholarship and he does not have a favorite."Most likely all take those last three visits before I decide [on a college]," Clark said. The 6-3, 210-pounder played outside linebacker and tight end during his senior season. He made 70 tackles, including 19 sacks while catching 12 passes with three touchdowns.
