• Who else are Big Ten teams hoping to get?

It is that time of the year. With the holidays here and the new year upon us, there is no better time to look at who each team in the Big Ten is hoping to still add.Illinois Fighting Illini
Ron Zook will host a large group of recruits the weekend of Jan. 21, including linebacker Armonze Daniel (Avon, Ind./Avon). Daniel may end up deciding between Illinois and Purdue. The Boilermakers may have the edge right now, but what happens after Daniel visits Illinois? Zook is also hoping offensive lineman Chris Bryant (Chicago, Ill./Simeon) visits Illinois the weekend of Jan. 21, and he might. But if coach Rich Rodriguez keeps his job at Michigan it is going to be hard keeping Bryant away from the Wolverines.Indiana Hoosiers
New Indiana coach Kevin Wilson would love to keep all of the Hoosiers commitments in place. Most notably, linebacker Zack Shaw (Coshocton, Ohio/Coshocton) made an official visit to West Virginia in December and will decide between the Mountaineers and Hoosiers after making an official visit to Indiana Jan. 14. Also visiting Indiana that weekend will be wide receiver Kenny Knight (Detroit, Mich./Country Day) who would be a nice addition to a solid recruiting class.Iowa Hawkeyes
Kirk Ferentz would love to grab linebacker Ejuan Price (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills). He has had a hard time pulling the trigger between Iowa and Ohio State, and if he waits too long, the Buckeyes may not have a place for him. Defensive tackle Darian Cooper (Hyattsville, Md./DeMatha) would be a great addition to the Hawkeyes' class too, and Ferentz gets the last shot with Cooper making a Jan. 21 official visit to Iowa. The two weekends before he visits Iowa, Cooper is scheduled to visit Michigan and Penn State.Michigan Wolverines
Rodriguez has had some success recruiting his home state this year, but not great success. He was definitely dealt a blow when defensive lineman Anthony Zettel (West Branch, Mich./Ogemaw Heights) announced on Tuesday night that he is headed to Penn State. Zettel's decision makes defensive end Deion Barnes (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast) even more important for Rich Rod. Barnes, who is visiting Michigan the weekend of Jan. 7, would help the Wolverines' defense quite a bit as well and take some of the sting out of losing Zettel to Joe Pa.Michigan State Spartans
