You can count me among those who didn't like the overtime penalty call against Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber in last night's Game 3 against the Vancouver Canucks. Clearly, Vancouver center Ryan Kesler locked his arm down on Weber's stick, making it look like he was being hooked along the wall.
That's the biggest problem for the referees in this league. The players know how to manipulate different situations to make it look like something that it isn't. At ice level, at full speed, the refs can have a tough time separating fact from fiction.
