• Banneker HS is loaded this season

After two games, it's no surprise College Park (Ga.) Banneker is proving to be a hotbed of talent. Led by safety Chaz Elder, Banneker's top prospects have performed well on the field.Elder, who is still deciding between South Carolina, Georgia and Vanderbilt, already has eight tackles and an interception for a touchdown.Louisville receiver commitment Larry Jefferson has caught five passes for 131 yards and a touchdown while logging 15 tackles, seven for a loss with four sacks and six quarterback hurries.Junior tailback Tyrell Brown has 254 yards on 39 carries with three touchdowns. Defensively, he has intercepted two passes that were returned for touchdowns. Junior linebacker/safety Marcus Albert has 21 tackles, including 15 solo. Junior cornerback Justin Abrams has six tackles. Junior cornerback Felix Wyley has five tackles and an interception. Sophomore running back Jalen White has 20 carries for 202 yards and five touchdowns.Banneker beat Forest Park (Ga.) High School 48-20 in Week 1 and Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside 21-6 last Friday.
