Charles Jackson (Houston/Klein Collins) planned on making a trip to Arkansas for the Razorbacks' spring game. However, he also made an unexpected visit to Oklahoma before returning home. "[University of Arkansas] was beautiful. I didn't expect anything like that. The people out there are so nice. Arkansas has nice fans and nice everything," said Jackson. After the spring game, the 5-foot-10, 170-pound ESPNU 150 Watch List prospect met with Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino."The first thing they talked about was my handshake and how powerful it was. They said they want me," said Jackson, who was excited about the visit.Driving back to Houston on Sunday, Jackson and his father made a stop by Oklahoma on a whim."My [Oklahoma] visit was a little unexpected. We were just going down the road and we just ended up passing OU and I say, 'why not just go by'. I liked the campus and everything. Loved it. coach [James] Patton and coach [Willie] Martinez talked to me," said Jackson. "They said they were going to come down for the spring and watch me and they are interested."Jackson has offers from Arkansas, Houston and is drawing interest from Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Iowa State, Texas A&M and Kansas, among many others. He also plans to camp at Texas and probably Oklahoma and Arkansas.
