• Klein Oak trio piling up the offers

Nathan Hughes (Spring, Texas/Klein Oak) picked up his 24th offer when Florida State offered on Wednesday. The Seminoles are the second ACC team to offer Hughes, joining Duke in chasing the 2011 Under Armour All-American. The 6-foot-6, 257-pound defensive end has also been offered by Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Baylor, Colorado, Texas A&M, TCU, LSU, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Michigan, Purdue, Minnesota, California, Stanford, Arizona, Oregon, Houston, Tulane along with a verbal offer from Alabama.Hughes has taken unofficial visits to LSU, Oklahoma and Texas. The Sooners and Tigers are currently the top two for the Houston-area prospect with the Sooners having taken the lead following a visit to Norman for the Sooners' spring game last weekend. Hughes has amassed 150 tackles and 15 sacks his two seasons on the varsity despite playing with a cast on his right hand for most of his junior year.ACC offer for Stevenson
