Senior DE Brennan Scarlett (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic) is producing on both sides of the ball this season. Whether it be at defensive end, middle linebacker or tight end Scarlett is an impact player drawing huge interest. The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder has tremendous hands and feet and possess great speed for his size. Scarlett projects as a defensive end at the college level, but ultimately that will come down to the overall needs of the school he chooses."Brennan is an amazing player, a great athlete and a tremendous leader that simply is a shining example of what it means to be a student athlete," said Central Catholic coach Steve Pyne. "I personally see Brennan playing defensive end at the college level, but I know there is a part of him that would like to play tight end."Scarlett has received 18 offers, including LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Oklahoma and Boise State. He is in the process of narrowing down the list of schools he's interested in and while Scarlett's family would like to see him play somewhat close to home, that's not necessarily a must for him. "I do plan on taking all five of my official visits before making my final decision," said Scarlett.
