Nitro Circus Live's first European tour is winding down, and last week it played for two days at Vienna's Wiener Stadthalle.
Travis Pastrana's crew of daredevils -- but not Pastrana because he is recovering from shoulder surgery -- rode an array of contraptions and launched themselves off the 50-foot Gigant-A-Ramp. Freestyle motocross riders thrilled the crowd with numerous tricks, including the 10-rider Nitro backflip combination.
"I have never toured Europe before, and I am so pumped about the opportunity for us to perform live in front of huge crowds over there in so many different countries," Pastrana said on the Nitro Circus Live website. "Nitro is all about us pushing each other to the limit every night, so you never know what is going to happen at one of our shows."
Nitro Circus began as a television miniseries on Fuel TV in 2006 before expanding to an MTV reality show, tours of Australia, New Zealand and the United States and this year's "Nitro Circus The Movie 3D,", which is available on DVD. Nitro Circus' 11-city, 13-show European tour concludes Wednesday in Birmingham, England.
