The MLS All-Stars came from behind to defeat European champion Chelsea 3-2, their second win against the Blues following a 1-0 win in 2006. Here are five notes on the MLS victory, which ended a three-game winless streak against European clubs.

• Eddie Johnson scored the decisive goal in the 91st minute, the latest game-winning goal in All-Star Game history. The previous record was the 88th minute, by Steve Pittman in 1996 and Brian McBride in 1997. The only later goal of any sort was a Landon Donovan 92nd-minute strike in 2001.

• Chris Pontius' 73rd-minute goal tied the game at two and was the 100th goal in MLS All-Star Game history. That's an average of 5.9 goals per match over the 17 All-Star Games.

• Chris Wondolowski opened the scoring in the 21st minute, with the earliest goal by an MLS All-Star since Honduran Amado Guevara in 2004.

• From the department of completely meaningless information (even more so than usual), the goals by Pontius and Wondolowski mark the second All-Star Game in which two different players with the same first name have scored. Juan Toja and Juan Pablo Angel both tallied in 2007 against Celtic.

• John Terry's equalizer in the 32nd minute came by heading Frank Lampard's corner kick. The method of scoring should come as no surprise: Over the past two league and European seasons, Terry leads Chelsea with six headed goals.
