With a 5-3 win over Chelsea, Arsenal emphatically ended an eight-game road winless streak in league play, its longest drought since 1991-92. Here are five more notes on today's wild affair at Stamford Bridge …
• With his hat trick in the match, Robin van Persie now leads the Premier League with 28 goals in the last two seasons, and he's only played 35 games. All of those goals have come in calendar year 2011, when he has had 28 of Arsenal's 53 Premier League scores (53 percent), the highest percentage of any player in the league. No other Gunner has more than Theo Walcott's six goals in 2011.
• Two of Van Persie's goals came in the last 10 minutes of the game. Since last season, he has scored a league-leading 10 of his 28 goals after the 75th minute of matches.
• Van Persie is just the second opponent to tally a Premier League hat trick at Stamford Bridge, and both have been in comeback wins for Arsenal. The other was Nigerian striker Nwankwo Kanu, in a 3-2 victory in October 1999.
• Chelsea surrendered five goals in a home league match for the first time since a 5-2 loss to Liverpool in December 1989. This is the third time that Arsenal has scored five goals at Chelsea. The other two matches were in 1930 and 1934.
• Chelsea has not posted a Premier League shutout in nine matches, the club's longest such streak since 2003. The Blues have conceded at least one goal in all five home matches this season and in seven straight overall. Last season, Chelsea did not allow any goals in its opening six home matches.
