This started with the Ice Bucket Challenge, and now causes around the country are using social media to help promote awareness about diseases that need cures or more attention paid to them.
Each one has a different hook, and for the American Diabetes Association, it is the "Diabetes Dance Dare." So on his off day, Detroit Lions punter Sam Martin took part. After he explained a little bit about diabetes and why he was doing the Dance Dare, he challenged Shaquille O'Neal, Shane Ray and Rashad Jennings.
Then he said he was dancing to "Who Let the Dogs Out", let his dog, Leo, out of the house and started to dance.
It's not clear who challenged Martin or if he started doing it on his own, but Shaquille O'Neal had already responded.
