Who will Tony Romo root for tonight?

IRVING, Texas -- Speaking on Mike & Mike last week, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was asked about his interest in Duke basketball.

He said he didn’t really have a team growing up, so the Duke Blue Devils kind of became his team in the way the Dallas Cowboys became the team for fans from around the country.

Tonight, Duke plays the Wisconsin Badgers for the men's basketball championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, but there has to be some kind of conflict for Romo.

While the Badgers have had Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers join the bandwagon, Romo’s ties to his homestate school are strong. He grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin. At last year’s Final Four at AT&T Stadium he was spotted wearing a red Wisconsin sweatshirt. Several of his lifelong friends are Wisconsin fans.

But Romo has visited Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski twice in the last two years, picking the brain of the Hall of Fame coach with coach Jason Garrett. They were joined by Jason Witten and DeMarco Murray this year. They saw the Blue Devils beat Wake Forest at Cameron Indoor Stadium and were in Houston at NRG Stadium to see the Blue Devils win the Regional, spending time with President George Bush as well.

Romo has not been afraid to show his Duke allegiance. If he is at Lucas Oil Field tonight, will he be in Duke blue or Wisconsin red?
