• Michigan (10-0): Senior Jordan Taylor pitched her seventh career no-hitter in a 6-0 victory against Long Island. She did not allow a run in 20.1 innings pitched over the weekend, bringing her shutout streak to 27 innings.
• Texas (10-0): Sophomore Taylor Hoagland extended her hitting streak, which carried over from 2010, to 21 games. On the season, she's 18-for-30, with 10 extra-base hits.
• Kansas (10-0): After going 21-31 in 2010, the Jayhawks are off to their best start in program history. Three underclassmen are hitting better than .400: sophomore Alex Jones, freshman Ashley Newman and sophomore Maggie Hull.
• Georgia (10-0): Senior Taylor Schlopy joined the school's 200-hit and 200-run clubs over the weekend. She is just the second in school history to score 200 runs and is one of eight to have reached that many hits, joining senior teammates Alisa Goler (203) and Megan Wiggins (208).
• Northwestern (4-3): Sophomore Emily Allard set a Northwestern single-game record for hits with a 5-for-5 performance against UC Davis on Friday.
• Alabama (10-0): The Crimson Tide scored 61 runs over five games this weekend, including 20 against Syracuse Sunday. The Tide has scored eight or more runs in eight of its 10 games this season.
• Florida (9-0): Senior Stephanie Brombacher has not given up an earned run through 31 innings pitched. After beating No. 22 North Carolina 10-0 Sunday, she's 6-0 with 35 strikeouts.
• Oregon (10-1): Junior Christie Nieto helped lead the Ducks to five victories over the weekend with a .727 batting average (8-for-11) and three home runs.
• Louisiana-Lafayette (10-0): The Ragin' Cajuns have outscored their opponents 135-3 this season; eight players are hitting better than .400, including senior Gabriele Bridges and freshman Natalie Fernandez, who are tied for the team-lead at .519 (both are 14-of-27).
• Nebraska (10-1): Freshman Taylor Edwards homered in her sixth straight game, an NCAA record, in a 6-0 win against Tennessee Tech Sunday. The streak broke the record set by Northwestern's Tammy WIlliams, who homered in five consecutive games in 2009.
• Texas Tech (11-0): When the Red Raiders, who are off to their best start in school history, appeared at No. 21 in last week's ESPN.com/USA Softball poll, it was their first national ranking since 1999.
