It was easy to figure Larry Johnson wasn't going to be claimed on waivers. No team wanted to pay his $2.1 million remaining salary, knowing that the Chiefs were on the line for it because his contract was guaranteed. According to a source, eight to nine teams spent Monday and Tuesday morning evaluating what to do with Johnson once he became a free agent. Two of those teams -- the 49ers and Bears -- didn't have time to do anything because they play on Thursday night. The Redskins make sense, but they may not be ready to do something this week. The Texans also might consider him, but they are on a bye week.Harris update: Don't expect Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris to be suspended for his hit on the Cardinals' Deuce Lutui in Week 9.
