They should be able to play a little defense at Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek this fall.Timber Creek is home to four-star linebacker Quanzell Lambert, one of the top recruits from New Jersey in the Class of 2012. It's also home to junior Greg Webb, who Timber Creek coach Rob Hinson called one of the top five defensive tackles in the state. You can add defensive end Dajuan Drennon (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) to the mix of Division I recruits at Timber Creek as well.Drennon has yet to begin his junior year, but already holds offers from Penn State and Rutgers."Rutgers gave me my first offer in May," Drennon said. "We went to a team camp at Penn State and I got an offer the second to last day there. It came as a surprise. They knew about me from watching Quanzell play. I don't know too much about Penn State other than what I saw at the camp."I know a little bit more about Rutgers. Being close to home is a plus. Everybody likes to see their family in the crowd. I like their coaches too."I haven't been hearing from any other schools as of yet."Drennon has also played two years of varsity basketball. He said he's gained nearly 10 pounds since last season and is now 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds. Although he plays tight end and some wide receiver, Drennon said so far he's been recruited to play on the defensive side of the ball."I'll play anywhere, but I think I'm better on defense," he said. "I'm a pass rusher. I like to hit."Drennon said he isn't focused on recruiting at this point, but added that he would like to receive an offer from Syracuse. He said he doesn't expect to make a decision until his senior year."Getting an offer from them [Syracuse] would be huge, because they've always been my favorite school," Drennon said. "I'm interested in any school willing to talk to me. I'm looking forward to hearing from more coaches."
