Four-star linebacker Quanzell Lambert (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) is one of the top prospects from New Jersey in the class of 2012, and Timber Creek is home to one of New Jersey's top recruits from the Class of 2013 as well.Defensive tackle Greg Webb transferred to Timber Creek from Paul IV near the tail end of his sophomore year. He already has verbal offers from Central Florida, Connecticut, Iowa, Michigan State, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse."In my opinion he's one of the top five defensive tackles in the state right now, and he'll be the best one when he's a senior," Timber Creek coach Rob Hinson said. "He's fast, strong and very explosive. He has a motor." Webb wrestled at the heavyweight weight class last year and posted a 34-2 record. He's 6-foot-2 and weighs 295 pounds."He'll also play left tackle [on offense], so he'll be a two-way guy for us," Hinson said.Lambert is rated as the No. 26 outside linebacker in the country but is being recruited to play both inside and outside linebacker in college. Boston College, Connecticut and Rutgers are among his 19 offers."Rutgers has the best chance of the three," Hinson said. "Being close they're sitting in a pretty good position."I'd say Rutgers is in his top six overall. He talks a lot to Alabama. Talks a lot to Oklahoma. Talks to the Nebraska folks. He's been talking to Iowa and Northwestern, too. He liked Boston College, but they don't have his major [mechanical engineering]."He could play either inside or outside because he runs well despite his size, which is 240-plus pounds."Hinson said Lambert probably will take his five official visits before he makes a decision."He's not doing too much right now [in terms of recruiting]," Hinson said. "He's kind of focused on his senior season at this point."
