Three-star defensive lineman Dominic Twitty (Mt. Holly, N.J./Rancocas Valley) wanted to play FBS football outside of New Jersey and reached his goal when he committed to Minnesota on Tuesday."They said if I come in and work hard I could play early in my career," Twitty said. "I'm 6-2, 265 so right now they're looking at me as a defensive end, but they said I could grow into a defensive tackle. It doesn't matter to me. I just want to help the team."Twitty said he was impressed with Minnesota's coaching staff. Temple was his only other FBS offer."It's a school that plays against good competition and a place where I'll get a lot of exposure," Twitty said.Minnesota has 11 verbal commitments.
