Mililtello waiting on BCQuarterback
Thomas Militello (St. Louis/Mary Institute Country Day School) said he still has strong interest in Boston College, but is unsure if BC is going to extend him an offer.Militello said BC is one of seven schools he speaks with regularly. The others are Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, Northern Illinois, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest. He has yet to receive his first offer."[BC offensive coordinator Kevin Rogers] said they've seen enough of me and they're impressed," Militello said. "I talked to [tight ends coach] Dave Brock on Tuesday. He said it depends on what happens with a couple of guys they're recruiting who are in front of me."It's like a limbo period right now. Hopefully an offer is coming because I'd like to make a decision sooner rather than later, but like one coach told me, 'Quarterback is a position that gets coaches hired and fired.'"Militello, who has visited BC three times, attended a camp at Cincinnati on Wednesday and was scheduled to be at an Illinois camp Thursday."I don't want to quicken the process, but life will be easier once recruiting is over," he said. "Once I get offers and establish a relationship with the coaching staff I'll have a clearer picture of where I'm at. Of course I have to get the offers first."
