Connecticut became the latest school to extend a scholarship offer to 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle
Sean Karl (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor Consolidated).He received the offer from Connecticut coach Paul Pasqualoni on Wednesday night."I had talked to [offensive coordinator] George DeLeone and [offensive line coach] Mike Foley before, but I talked with Coach Pasqualoni on the phone and he said I had an offer," Karl said. "They said they're looking for me to play right tackle or right guard and that if I came to their camp they'd work with me."Karl has been to Connecticut three times.He also picked up an offer from Virginia earlier this week and has offers from Buffalo, Stony Brook and Syracuse. "Virginia came to my school and then called me [with an offer] Monday night," Karl said. "I know it's a good school with good academics and a good football program. I'm also very interested in Syracuse."Karl's next offer could come from Boston College. He is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to BC on Tuesday. Karl lived in Massachusetts for 11 years before he moved to New York."I'm meeting with all of the coaches and taking a tour," Karl said. "Their recruiting coordinator is coming to my school on Friday."

Ryan Morris (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) received offers from South Carolina and Massachusetts on Wednesday, which raised his number of offers to 13.Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Syracuse, Louisville, Cincinnati, Duke, Central Florida, Tulane, Marshall and Buffalo are the other schools that have offered.

Brandon Napoleon (Rahway, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) picked up an offer from Buffalo on Wednesday. He also has offers from Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina and Rutgers.Maryland made an offer to linebacker/running back Abner Logan Jr. (Cambridge, Mass./Dexter School) on Tuesday. Syracuse, Florida International, Massachusetts and Towson have also offered Logan.
