Devin Fuller (Old Tappan, N.J./Old Tappan) has a problem many high school football players would like to have: too many scholarship offers."I think it's up to around 30 now," Fuller said. "I can't even remember all the teams. People tell me how lucky I am, but it gets hard -- really hard. I tried to get it down to five in my head the other day and I couldn't do it. I could probably cut it down to 12."Sometimes I wish I just had two offers, or even one. That way I could say, 'That's where I'm going.'"Oregon and LSU are two schools that haven't extended an offer to Fuller, but have shown increased interest recently. Oregon coaches have visited Fuller's high school twice."I'd like to have it down to a list of 10 before the season starts," Fuller said. "I want to take all my five official visits."Fuller said more than half of the schools that are pursuing him are recruiting him as a quarterback. The rest would like him to play either receiver or defensive back. "[Playing quarterback] is a huge thing I would like to do, but if I really like the school it won't matter that much," he said. "I'm not a pro-style quarterback, so I don't want to go into that system."Fuller has taken unofficial visits to Boston College, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Penn State, Rutgers and TCU. He said he has finalized plans to visit Nebraska as well. When asked about schools in the Northeast, Fuller said Boston College and Rutgers are both still in the picture. He called Connecticut a longshot, and said it's unlikely that he'll attend Syracuse."There are some schools that stick out more than others," he said. "I still want to see some of the other schools that have offered."Boston College is still in there. I like [BC offensive coordinator Kevin Rogers]. He's coached mobile quarterbacks before. "Rutgers is very high on my list. I talk to [Rutgers assistant coach Jeff Hafley] every day. We have a good relationship. They'd be close to the top."
