Brandon Napoleon (Rahway, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) knows where he wants to play college football. He doesn't know the specific school, but he does know where it will be located."I actually want to stay on the East Coast," Napoleon said. "The Midwest or East Coast -- no farther than that. I want to make it easy for my parents to come see me play."Napoleon is currently doing his homework on the five schools that have made him a verbal scholarship offer: Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina and Rutgers. He's being recruited to play either quarterback or defensive back."I just got back from Indiana Sunday," Napoleon said. "It was great. I met with the coaches, got to see the academic environment and hung out with the players. It opened my eyes. I really like Indiana."I'm being recruited mostly as a cornerback, but Indiana wants me to play quarterback. Either way is OK with me. I'm fast with long arms, so I can see why teams would offer me as a corner. I would like to play quarterback, but if I'm a good fit on defense ..."Napoleon has also been to Connecticut, and visited both North Carolina and Rutgers twice. He said he's hoping to take a second trip to Connecticut next week, and is planning to visit Illinois in June.Central Florida is another school that is recruiting him as a quarterback."They told me they're still evaluating and it's between me and two other quarterbacks," he said. "They said they would call me in a couple weeks and either offer or not offer."Napoleon said he hopes to narrow his choice to three schools by August, and that he plans to announce his decision on Sept. 9. His grandmother passed away on that date several years ago."I'm grateful for what I have," he said. "Right now I just feel blessed to be in this position."
