A year later, it seems Jeremy is sett-Lin in with his new old team. Lin (20 points, 11 assists) recorded his second straight double-double -- and fourth consecutive game of double-digit scoring -- as the Rockets demolished the Chicago Bulls on Christmas. In his past four games -- all Rockets victories -- Lin is averaging 18.8 points and 9.0 assists. It's apparent that Lin has been more aggressive of late. During this stretch he's averaging 12.8 field goal attempts and 3.5 trips to the line. By comparison, over his first 23 games, Lin averaged 10.1 shots and 2.4 free throw tries.

Lin, James Harden (26 points, 6 assists) and Omer Asik (20 points, 18 rebounds) dominated the Bulls, and given the Rockets' upcoming schedule, fantasy owners who are invested in these three should expert some big numbers, at least for the near term.

Looking Back

• Chandler Parsons (23 points, four 3s) also had a strong game for Rockets, but he injured his right knee in a second-quarter collision with Marco Belinelli. Though Chandler finished the game, the Houston Chronicle reported that he was hobbled afterwards as his knee swelled. The Rockets visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, so watch for updates on Chandler.

• After being limited to zero points in 17 minutes against the Charlotte Bobcats on Dec. 22, Ty Lawson (Achilles) started and played 32 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Denver Nuggets had said that holding Lawson out against the Bobcats was a precautionary move.

Looking Ahead

• DeMarcus Cousins has been reinstated, but coach Keith Smart hasn't confirmed that Cousins will play Wednesday, when the Sacramento Kings visit the Portland Trail Blazers. The Kings will again be without Tyreke Evans (knee) in Rip City. For the Blazers, Wesley Matthews (hip) is questionable.

• Anderson Varejao (knee) will miss a fourth consecutive game for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who visit the Washington Wizards. With Andy out, Tristan Thompson has been terrific: he's averaging 12.3 points, 13.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over his past three. Thompson is a fantasy fill-in at the moment, but could be a must-add at some point this season, should the Varejao trade rumors have legs.

• While the Bobcats could get Gerald Henderson (shin) back for Wednesday's meeting with the Miami Heat, they could be without Byron Mullens (ankle) for an extended period. Mullens was injured in the closing moments of that Dec. 22 game in Denver.

• Kevin Love (eye) is expected to play on Wednesday.
